German shepherd has always been a big part of our lives. The breed came into our lives when we were only at the age of "toddlers". From those early days Antti was able to watch and learn about the training of dogs for Military, and good for us both having neighbours and some realtives with shephers, because it took some time to be able to have a dsh of our own. Though being young, the love for dogs and the GSD was planted. Years have gone by, but the initial situation stays the same: Dogs are the enrichement in our lives and love for them is strong as ever.
The life with the dogs have taught us the true meaning of the words working, dedication, determination, loyalty, love and devotion.

Training protection and other dogsports has taught us a lot too. In this "hobby" or sport you can still embrace a new idea sometimes even after years of training. Just when you thought you "knew it all", something new comes up, a fresh trainingmethod or similar. In this sport you might never be fully and properly educated :-) And maybe that is just the exitement of it all. Every dog is different and you have to be able to transform yourself as a trainer along the long road......

The idea of breeding has risen some time ago. Will be seen, how things go. You never know what life throws at you, so patience is the key in this. One must be humble and wait until he has the right dog for breeding in hand. High criteria in breeding will make the work challenging. Some thirty years with the dogs have hopefully given us some knowledge of dogs.
Health, good and healty structure along with the abilities required for a good working dog breed are the basic elements that rise to a significant role in breeding GSD. The willingness to work and function even under pressure in different conditions, full bite and will to fight are among the qualities of a German Shepherd that we appreciate. Our goal is to breed with dogs that have eg. all bone structure x-rayed, no other health issues/illnesses, proven working abilities ie. competed in working dog trials / SchH.
We'll aim to breed healthy dogs with good mental ability and characteristics and excellent qualities of a working dog.
We dedicate most of our time to dogs. We attend to competitions, seminars, training events etc. And of course we train and enjoy life with our own dogs and love them to bits :-)
